Bob has been a latecomer to singing and performing (early sixties, that is age not decade) Since then he sings daily, has written 150 songs and performs in a duet with cellist Catherine Checora.
A musical pilgrimage in 2014 took him to the iconic American music cities and he was inspired enough to return and become a founder of the Music Mile, ElderSong, the Gravity Café Songwriters' Night and YoMomma (Young Musicians of Music Mile Alliance).
Bob’s writing and performance style are most influenced by folk, old gospel, and generally the Americana approach to singer songwriter work.
Bob also continues to do consulting work in the field of leadership, workplace and citizen engagement and placemaking. His book Handcrafted Leadership: the Art and Craft of Building Engaged Workplaces and Communities, is well used in public, private and not for profit organizations. Bob is also a freelance writer, a potter and a storyteller.
